Petrol vehicles from 2001 (1996 for the USA) and diesel vehicles from 2003 are compatible. If you have any doubts, check out our information website for a complete list of OBD2 compatible vehicles.

Our EOBD-Facile software is compatible with Windows Vista, 7, 8 and 10.

When purchasing the Basic / Plus Edition of the software, you will receive an order confirmation email with the software to download and the procedure to get the activation key.

Yes, updates are included in the price of the EOBD-Facile software. The login and password provided when you registered will also work with the new versions. To download the updates, go to the download page on our information website.

The licence is linked to one computer. 

No, the software only allows you to diagnose engine and gearbox faults. If an ABS, Airbag or ESP indicator lights up, only the manufacturer's kit can give a diagnosis.

The order confirmation email with the link to download EOBD-Facile is sent automatically when you confirm the order. This email may end up in your "Spam" or "Undesirable mail" box. Remember to check these mail boxes.

Activation codes are sent automatically. Follow the activation process in the software. At the end of it your software will be activated.

The file is automatically saved in the log directory of the software. On your computer, it can be found in "My documents/EOBD-Facile/log".

No, it is impossible to delete maintenance indicators (oil change, service) using the EOBD-Facile software. This operation is specific to the manufacturer. Only special tools can be used to do so.

A fault does not appear immediately after it is detected. Usually 3 or 4 driving cycles are required. If you cannot read the faults, your vehicle may not be fully compatible with the OBDII standard.

We do not recommend leaving the box permanently connected to your car, it might drain your battery.

No, the PC license, when it is bought alone, and the license for EOBD Facile Editions on iPhone / iPad (or Android) are not related. Basic / Plus Edition for smartphone is bought directly from your iPhone / iPad (or tablet / Android smartphone).
